  1. Ingredients:
    - 1 whole turkey (about 12-14 lbs)
    - 2 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen)
    - 1 loaf day-old bread, cubed
    - 1 large onion, chopped
    - 3 celery stalks, chopped
    - 1/2 cup unsalted butter
    - 1 cup chicken broth
    - 2 teaspoons salt
    - 1 teaspoon black pepper
    - 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
    - 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped

  2. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

  4. Prepare the stuffing: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and celery, and cook until soft. Add cranberries, bread cubes, chicken broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed and bread is moistened.

  5. Stuff the turkey: Clean the turkey and pat dry. Generously fill the cavity with the cranberry stuffing. Truss the legs and tuck the wing tips under the body.

  6. Roast the turkey: Place the turkey on a rack in a roasting pan. Tent with aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning. Roast for about 3 to 3.5 hours, or until the internal temperature of the stuffing reaches 165°F (74°C).

  7. Let the turkey rest for about 20 minutes before carving. Serve warm with your favorite side dishes.
