  1. Ingredients:
    - 1 large pork shoulder (about 5 lbs)
    - 2 large onions, sliced
    - 4 apples, cored and sliced
    - 4 cloves garlic, minced
    - 2 cups chicken broth
    - 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
    - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
    - 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
    - Salt and pepper to taste
    - Fresh thyme

  2. Rub the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Make sure to cover all sides evenly.
